Shade grown, the ancient Ohia Trees have been preserved on Hoshide Farms for their natural beauty, and majestic spiritual qualities.  The cool, high elevation, optimal PH for the soil, and generous rainfall from the heavens above, provide optimal growing conditions for Kona Coffee.  In addition, new scientific research proves that oxygenation, provided by the Ohia Trees, reverses the negative impact of vog by turning sulfur dioxide emmitted from the volcano, into oxygen.

At Hoshide Farms, our soil, and tissue from our trees are sampled, and studied scientifically for any imbalances.  Then, a specialized formula of fertilizer is designed for Hoshide Farms Kona Coffee trees, and soil.
